Text Betting

All the punter needs to do is simply write their betting slip in a mobile text message and send it to the bookmaker's text betting number. Onionsack receive this message, understand it based on live market data and place the bet on the punter's account within the bookmaker's system. Onionsack issue a receipt and even a win notice should the bet win.

Text betting is perfect for your existing punters and an ideal channel for new territories. Whilst mobile applications are growing in popularity with punters, text is accessible to every punter, even when signal strength is weak. Text does not require downloads or 3G connections.

Security

Any bets over a certain limits and all requests to deposit funds from a payment card will need to pass a security check. This check involves an automated phone call to the punter where they are asked to enter details of either their payment card or personal information to verify the transaction.

Integration

Onionsack integrate with the Bookmaker's system. This may be a stardard bookmaker's product that we may already have integrated or be a bespoke systems integration.

Integration requires the following:

- A feed of market data and prices.
- A webservice or other API that allows Onionsack to place bets against your own system.

Additionally arrangements must be made for inbound text numbers to cover the required territories for your new service channel.

Onionsack also offer a unique predictive IVR bet placement service. Ideal for racing and in-play markets.

A typical telephone bet goes through 3 stages:
1 - The punter identifies themselves.
2 - They request their bet.
3 - Bet is read back to them for confirmation.

Onionsack's IVR betting service:
1 - The punter is recognised by their caller ID.
2 - Predicts and uses current markets to offer the punter the markets they are most likely to want.
3 - Automatically reads out the bet confirmation, also texts receipt and win notice too.
